The city of Glasgow

On our adventure travel in Scotland, we drove from Edinburgh to our next destination Glasgow. To be honest with you, we were not that impressed by Glasgow. Coming from the hilly and fascinating city of Edinburgh, Glasgow just seemed a bit…plain? A nice city with nice people of course, but just not anything special… We were only here for one day, quite pleased that we hade chosen to spend more time on the rest of the journey. We had booked a room at the fairly new and modern CitizenM hotel, centrally located with compact living and very flashy toilets…

During the day in Glasgow, we walked around taking a look at the city. We found an old church and cemetery, a nice place to rest in peace.
